Don’t release drivers that cause incredibly common things like Chrome and Firefox to crash. This is after the last time I tried to update drivers a few months ago, where the screen would flicker and was completely unusable. Quit the half-assed garbage and get your shit together, because at this rate I’m ready to switch over to AMD, power use be damned.

i just replaced a bunch of video cards at work with nvidia. Their driver installers are kinda crap. Once everything is installed it works fine, but that’s a picky damn installer.

Every time I use it it wants me to sign up for something new. I hate it.
That, and it installs broken drivers.

It’s better than the crap that AMD pulls. 8 times out of 10...
I (either) had to call customer support or just find a new aftermarket board. Shit’s getting old, AMD. It’s why I still think a twin 1070 had to be one of my lenient builds.
Also, have I ever told anyone how I managed to set an AMD card on fire by G-Mod?

Ugh, that account required shit they went to a year ago. You can download direct from their site without an account. That’s what I do. I wait til the app tells me there’s a new update then download direct.

well you can wait it out and not install the drivers. I know the last set for my video card mentioned “beta’ in the paragraph so I said “screw that”. Once they’ve did their own work and made sure a driver is properly done, then I install it.
